The Skill India Mission aimed to reach out to 30 crore youth by 2022, but by the end of 2018, only 2.5 crore had been reached and trained under this scheme. This inefficiency in achieving the target arises from ineffective capacity building and lower enrollment. In fact, even under PMKVY, only 15% of the enrolled students were able to get a job.

Director

Hailing from a small village in Saurashtra, both the directors, Hasmukh Rafaliya and Hitesh Desai, were initially farmers, totally unaware of the urban and city culture. They both accidentally caught each other in Surat in 2005 in a college classroom, and the seed of a historical journey was sown there!

They started pursuing their Education, and slowly they both started identifying loopholes in the education ecosystem. Although they couldn’t do much about it, the spark was ignited in themselves, understanding that something revolutionary had to happen, and the pattern of education had to be changed drastically.

While pursuing their education, they tried their hands at various small and medium-sized ventures to sustain their survival, having their goal fixed in their minds to do something good, something big. They say if you pursue something intensively, the entire universe conspires to bring it to you. This was apt, and they discovered that they would go ahead in revamping the IT industry and give what it takes to make it a grand success. Hence, the birth of ‘Red & White” took place in 2008 with a small working space of around 260sq.ft work premise at A.K. Road, Surat. The journey began from a few Rupees to a multi-crore business today, indeed dramatic but true!
