Placement Policy for Candidates

Objective

This policy aims to guide students in achieving their career goals by supporting them in securing jobs that align with their skills, interests, and aspirations. It ensures a structured and transparent placement process, promoting equal opportunities for all eligible students. The policy encourages responsibility, discipline, and professionalism throughout the placement process, while offering personalized career guidance to help students find roles that best match their abilities. This policy is applicable to all candidates enrolled in Red & White Skill Education’s career courses.

Things to Keep in Mind by Candidates for the Placement Process

Eligibility & Registration

Eligibility Criteria

  • 80% or Above Performance & 90% Attendance: Eligible for placement without conditions.
  • 60-80% Performance: Requires completion of a revision module before applying for placements.
  • Below 60% Performance: Needs to complete a revision module, improve to 80%, and then apply for placements.

How to Register

  • Eligible students must log into the LMS portal and click on the “Apply for Job” button.
  • Ensure that performance and attendance criteria are met before registering.

Resume Submission & Approval

  • Prepare and submit your resume based on faculty instructions and adhere to deadlines.
  • Faculty will review and approve resumes before submission to the Placement Cell.
  • Only approved resumes will be considered for participation in the placement process.

Discipline

  • Behavior during training, interviews, and activities will be monitored and affect your placement opportunities.
  • Attend all interviews scheduled by the Placement Cell/Branch. Failure to attend interviews or a lack of interest will result in exclusion from the process.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions. Consistent communication about challenges or feedback is essential to avoid misunderstandings.

Job Offers

  • Research companies thoroughly before accepting job offers to ensure compatibility with their vision, culture, and expectations.
  • Prepare for immediate joining if required by the company. Inform faculty or the Placement Cell of any challenges in adjusting your schedule.
  • Companies may observe your performance for 15 days (or specified time). Be ready to learn and adapt to their culture.
  • Selected candidates must adhere to the company’s rules and policies. Review job responsibilities and ensure you understand all terms before signing any contracts.
  • Submit all necessary documents, including a color copy of the offer letter and a professional photograph, to your branch before joining the company.

Pre-Placement Talks (PPT)

  • Attendance in all pre-placement sessions is mandatory to understand the process and company expectations.
  • Align your personal career goals with the opportunities presented during these sessions.

General Guidelines

  • Always carry your ID card during placement-related activities (PPTs, tests, interviews).
  • Register on the placement portal to participate in placement drives.
  • After attending a PPT and entering the selection process, withdrawal is not allowed, and it will cancel future placement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate job readiness for opportunities within a 30 KM radius of your location (or PAN India, if applicable).
  • Candidates can accept a maximum of 2 job offers.
  • The Placement Cell will arrange up to 3 interviews, and candidates must prepare thoroughly for each opportunity.

Rejection Criteria & Further Process

  • Technical Skills Rejection: If rejected after 3 interviews due to technical skills, candidates will be provided with a Revision Module to improve their skills.
  • Soft Skills Rejection: If rejection is due to soft skills, candidates must take responsibility for enhancing their skills independently.
  • Absence from Interviews: Failure to attend an interview without valid reason will result in immediate cancellation of the placement process.
  • After three unsuccessful interviews, no further placement assistance will be provided, except for technical skill training.

Interview Preparation

  • Understand basic technological concepts and practice with the tools relevant to your course.
  • Improve English communication skills and complete all projects on time to showcase your abilities.
  • Stay active on placement communication platforms for interview updates.

Leave Notification

  • Any leave requests or holds must be submitted in advance to the Placement Cell. Leave is limited to 15 days. Failure to comply may cancel your placement process.

Placement Duration

  • The placement process may last up to 90 working days. Keep actively communicating with the Placement Cell during this period.

Alumni Support

  • Alumni seeking further placement assistance must meet the conditions of their first employer and provide an experience/relieving letter from their previous company.

Policy Updates

  • The institute reserves the right to modify placement rules and regulations. Candidates are expected to stay informed and follow any updates.

Placement Process Cancellation

  • Refusal to participate due to distance-related excuses.
  • Failure to attend scheduled interviews without prior notice.
  • Repeated job offer rejections without valid reasons.
  • Unprofessional behavior towards the Placement Cell, faculty, or interviewers.
  • Failing to join a company after being selected.
  • Non-response to communication attempts (calls, messages, emails) for over five working days.
  • Rejection due to soft skills issues will result in termination of the placement process after two rejections.

Soft Skills Support

  • The institute offers workshops and tutorials to help students improve soft skills. However, the candidate is responsible for actively engaging in these sessions and improving their communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Soft skill improvement is the candidate’s responsibility, and the institute encourages self-learning and regular practice.

Candidate Accountability

  • Candidates must take responsibility for their professional growth, including enhancing soft skills. The institute provides resources, but active participation in improving soft skills is expected.

Policy Violations

  • Non-compliance with the institute’s placement policies will result in immediate cancellation of the placement process.
